Kahlua

PRE-TRAINING PACKER MARE FOR SALE

Kahlua is a beautiful 11y.o. 16h TB/WB cross.

Bold, she successfully upgraded to Pre-Training this summer, always bringing home a ribbon. She has shown up to 2nd level dressage as well as has won in the .90 jumpers this season. Schools a meter regularly.

She has 3 lovely gaits, and is very adjustable both in jumping and cross country, where she is very brave and honest. Her courage is also shown on hacks, as she is great both alone and in groups, and has handled many problematic situations bravely, staying calm no matter the issue.

She will not spook or take off. She would make a great first horse for someone who is looking to start competing in lower levels. Kahlua is truly an amazing mare who loves to please. I am selling her as I am progressing through the levels and believe she would be a better fit and more comfortable staying at PT or just take a beginner through the lower levels.

Priced in the low five figures, please email for more information.
Serious inquiries only.

Cassonade (Cass)

Cassonade or "Cass" is a flashy 9 year old, 14h Quarter Horse/Appaloosa cross. An Easy Keeper with a heart of gold - Cass lives outside full time with a group of geldings and has no back shoes. Commonly known as a “Barn Favorite” Cass has taught many weeks of summer camp to beginners of all ages, while also successfully competing at the 0.85m jumper shows and Entry level events. At home he has schooled all pre-training cross country obstacles, and completed show-jump courses at 1.05m. Easy to get on the bit, Cass has three lovely gaits and is competent at leg yields, shoulder in, turn on the forehand, etc.

Cass is the perfect family horse - Calm enough for the kids to ride, but built sturdy enough for adults also. He is Great for hacks going through water, mud, jumping over trees, you name it he does it! Loves to be pampered, brushed, washed, etc. No vices and is good for vet, farrier, trailering, mane pulling, clipping, braiding and leading.

Cass the Wonder Pony gets noticed everywhere we go by his beautiful coloring, talented jump, and floaty movements. In 2017 he placed 2nd at Stevens Creek scoring a 50.0 in dressage with a double clear cross country and stadium. He also competed at the Oakhurst Horse Trials where he was also 2nd after dressage with a 46.5 and a double clear show jump round (one of only 5 clear rounds in the division).

We are sad to see Cass go but let our loss be your gain! There is no better present for your kid to find under the tree on christmas morning then this perfect pony.

His health has always been excellent with no lameness or finicky health in general. With one exception, Cass' right eye has a vision capacity of 70% due to a trailering incident when he was young (that is: Veterinarian report that this is NOT genetic is confirmed and no treatment is required). His eye has never affected his ability to jump, flat, or hack and has no impact on his ability as a contender in the ring and in our hearts.

Cass is for sale due to no fault of his own - the Owner has simply decided to pursue other activities. Asking price is $6500 with additional tack negotiable (excellent quality bridle, saddle, assorted saddle pads, winter and rain blankets, assorted riding clothes (size small, helmet, etc.)

Please PM for more information and videos.
